Mach V Motorsports located in Sterling VA is one of the best shops around and have experience working on many types of car. Primarily known for their work on DSM cars they are also experts in Subies and Minis, if power and performance is what you need then they can dig it out for you.
When we heard from Dustin at Mischief that Mach V was having an annual show for charity to help the Boys and Girls Club of America we felt we could not miss it. Besides having a great time with like minded car people, it is always a great feeling to do something for others.
While at first the majority of the cars were Subies mainly WRXs and STIs, as the day progressed we saw EVOs begin to arrive followed by BMWs and even a few domestics (the ECR Mustang included lol).
Some of the more noted cars of the show included a heavily modified Mercedes Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series which had custom vents into the hood, a variety of power modes including a full exhaust, an Evo Sport wrapped roll cage, brake upgraded kit on all four corners and a ton of carbon fiber.
Not to be out done or over looked was a white new M3 Coupe with the carbon fiber roof, and carbon fiber wheels, and although we have no idea what was done to the car itself we do know it is faster than the Mustangs 5lb boost setting.
The show had great activities as well, besides the opportunity to meet and talk to others about their cars, Mach V and Chic-Fil-A put together a nugget eating contest, there were several raffles and of course some beautiful custom made trophies.
Anyway enough of our running on check out the gallery at the link below, and check out Mach V at http://machv.com.
