July 09 Manassas Burger King Cruise In

Every Saturday afternoon in the summer you will find the parking lot of Burger King at the intersection of Route 234 and Rout 28 in Manassass VA to be full of gear heads and enthusiasts.

This regular summer cruise in has been around for years as a place for those of like minds to hang out and show off what they appreciate most in their garage.  You will find everything from custom bikes to drag cars, modified sport compacts to high end exotics.

On this given Saturday we were in the area with the Mustang and decided to drop by.  Glad we did.

The parking lot was almost completley full and as several people would leave several more would show up and the cars and bikes just kept rolling in.  Some of the more notable cars on this day included a red and black Viper ACR which was in immaculate condition.  Behind that was sitting a Hennessey Gen I Viper RT/10 which just happens to be one of my favorite cars ever made.

Also there was a great variety of custom hot rods, several heavily modified Harley Davidson bikes whos owners definitely paid the chrome tax, classic cars such as a Camaro Z/28 and a huge count of Corvettes.

One Corvette that cought my eye looked virtually stock, however under the hood was hidden an APS twin turbo kit, making this Vette a very very unsuspecting vicious animal.
